They have toured the USA four times and Europe three times in the last 4 years as well as countless Australian tours. From huge open-air concerts overseas to small outback pubs in Australia, the band always plays with the same passion and commitment. The Princes of Pleasure acoustic duo was started as a fun thing by Stuart Wood (The Giants) and Wayne Burt (The Black Sorrows) as an alternative to the electric rock sounds of their respective bands. After Mark Greig (Australian Crawl) replaced Wayne in The Giants line-up, Mark also took the role of lead guitarist in The Princes of Pleasure duo. Due mainly to Mark's extraordinary stage presence and vocal ability, the new line-up became extremely popular amongst followers of The Giants and even attracted a whole new listening audience. With the release of the CD 'Live In Our Lounge Room' the popularity of The Princes Of Pleasure has grown immensely. With a mixture of Blues, Country and Rock played with a party attitude their live gigs are always a lot of fun. |
